The designer
Anzhela Datsenko
Artist · Architect · Interior Designer

Anzhela Datsenko is an interior designer and artist whose work joins the sensitivity of a painter with the precision of an architect. She grew up with a brush in her hand: five years of fine-art school taught her to see colour, light and composition before she ever drew a floor plan.
She then trained as an architect: in 2016 she graduated from the Kharkiv College of Construction, Architecture and Design in Architectural Design and Interior, qualifying as an Architect-Technician. In 2019 she completed a Bachelor's Degree in Building and Civil Engineering at the O.M. Beketov National University of Urban Economy in Kharkiv — the technical foundation that lets every idea be built exactly as it was imagined.
In 2020 she opened her own company in Turin, Italy. There she designed a gelateria and private apartments and built direct relationships with Italian manufacturers of furniture, lighting, stone and textiles — relationships her clients benefit from today.
Now based in Honolulu, Anzhela leads DAKO ATELIER, creating residential and commercial interiors in Hawaiʻi and around the world. She believes a home should be composed like a painting: every colour, texture and ray of light chosen to tell the story of the people who live in it.
